We are looking for several Operational Support Advisors to join our busy team at our Head Office in Blackburn.
This is a varied role where you will provide administrative, operational and customer service support to help ensure our engineers and service teams run smoothly.

You will work closely with engineers, customers and internal teams to coordinate maintenance appointments, manage customer enquiries and keep systems and records accurate and up to date.
The role would suit someone who is organised, reliable, confident speaking to customers and comfortable managing several tasks at once.

The Role Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Scheduling and coordinating engineers for planned and reactive maintenance work.
  • Organising appointments and ensuring engineers have the information they need to complete their work effectively.
  • Keeping customers updated on appointments and providing a professional and helpful service.
  • Answering incoming calls and responding to customer enquiries within agreed timescales.
  • Managing shared email inboxes and ensuring enquiries are dealt with promptly.
  • Liaising with customers and internal teams to resolve queries and provide updates.
  • Updating internal systems and ensuring customer information is accurate and up to date.
  • Carrying out data entry and data cleansing, including reviewing and correcting existing customer records.
  • Working through a backlog of customer cases and ensuring information is recorded correctly.
  • Contacting customers where additional or updated information is required.
  • Providing general administrative and operational support to the wider team.
  • Working closely with colleagues and other departments to resolve issues and keep work moving.
  • Supporting the improvement and development of internal systems and processes.
  • Providing flexible support to the team where required.
About You We are looking for someone who has:
  • Previous experience of scheduling or coordinating engineers.
  • Experience in an administration, customer service, coordination or support role.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Basic IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • A proactive and positive approach to solving problems.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team.
