Are you a highly organised coordinator who thrives on variety and enjoys supporting people? We're looking for a proactive HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join our growing team in Blackburn.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in HR, recruitment or high-level business support who is looking to build a long-term career within HR. Whether you're already working in HR or have gained transferable experience in a busy coordination or administrative role, we'd love to hear from you.

Initially, there will be a strong focus on recruitment as the business continues to grow, before developing into a broad generalist HR role covering the full employee lifecycle.

If you're someone who loves keeping things organised, enjoys working with people, can confidently juggle multiple priorities and takes pride in delivering an excellent service, you'll fit right in.

What you'll be doing
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple departments
  • Writing engaging job adverts and coordinating recruitment campaigns
  • Screening applications and arranging interviews
  • Supporting onboarding and ensuring a great new starter experience
  • Maintaining HR records and employee documentation
  • Coordinating training, inductions and employee communications
  • Supporting absence management, holidays and HR administration
  • Assisting with employee relations and HR projects
  • Producing reports and supporting payroll administration
  • Acting as a key point of contact for managers and employees across the business
We're looking for someone who has
  • Experience within HR, recruitment, people, talent or a busy coordination/administration role
  • Outstanding organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence building relationships across all levels
  • Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using business systems
It would be great if you also have
  • Experience supporting recruitment or onboarding
  • Knowledge of HR processes or employment legislation
  • CIPD Level 3 (or currently studying)
  • Experience within professional services, legal, financial services or another fast-paced office environment
