Customer Claims Handler – Blackburn
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading solicitor’s firm in Blackburn, who are looking for Customer Claims Handlers to join their growing claims processing team. We are recruiting on behalf of a leading solicitor’s firm in Blackburn, who are looking for Customer Claims Handlers to join their growing claims processing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy, professional environment and play a key role in helping customers resolve financial claims and consumer issues.
The role:
- Handling inbound and outbound customer calls and support requests
- Maintaining accurate customer records in their CRM system
- Escalating inquiries to the appropriate team when necessary
- Acting as the main point of contact for customers in arrears
- Understanding customer needs and circumstances to provide tailored solutions
- Demonstrating a ‘customer first’ approach on every interaction
- Problem-solving to achieve the best outcomes for customers
- Experience handling phone calls (2 years desirable but not essential)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic administrative skills for updating files and systems
- Confidence and resilience to manage challenging conversations
- Experience in finance, claims, or legal sectors is a bonus, but not essential
- Well-organised, detail-oriented, and a team player
- Full-time: Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:30, Blackburn office
- Starting salary: £24,000
