Territory: Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Rutland, Suffolk, Warwickshire, Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest
Are you an experienced Field Sales professional who thrives on winning new business, building strong customer relationships and exceeding targets?
We are looking for an ambitious and driven Area Sales Manager to take responsibility for an established territory across the Midlands and surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful, international business with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and customer service. You’ll inherit an established territory and existing customer relationships, while also having the opportunity to grow the area through new business development. Most importantly, this is a business that invests in its people. You’ll receive a comprehensive 7-week training programme, including two weeks in the office followed by five weeks shadowing experienced Area Sales Managers across the country.
About the Role
As Area Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing your territory profitably, developing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
You’ll be selling a high-quality and innovative portfolio of outdoor playground equipment to a diverse range of customers, including:
Each Area Sales Manager has access to dedicated sales support, design and contract management resource. A Sales Coordinator will also support two Area Sales Managers and will arrange a significant proportion of appointments, with the remainder being generated by you. The sales cycle is typically around six months, so this role requires someone who is comfortable managing a pipeline, building relationships over time and working towards longer-term commercial wins.
What You'll Be Doing
We’re looking for someone with energy, drive and genuine ambition to succeed in field sales.
You’ll ideally have around 3+ years’ field sales experience, although we’re more interested in your attitude, track record and potential than simply the number of years on your CV.

- Building strong relationships with existing customers and key stakeholders
- Identifying and winning new business opportunities
- Generating and managing your own sales pipeline
- Attending customer meetings and site visits
- Delivering professional and engaging presentations
- Preparing quotations and managing opportunities through to completion
- Consistently working towards and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets
- Managing your territory efficiently and profitably
- Working closely with internal sales, design, marketing and contract management teams
- Maintaining accurate records using CRM and sales systems
