Customer Claims Handler

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading firm of solicitors based in Blackburn, specialising in no win, no fee claims. Due to rapid growth and success, they are expanding their claims team and looking for Customer Claims Handlers to join their dynamic office.

The Role As a Customer Claims Handler, you will be the first point of contact for clients, guiding them through the claims process with professionalism and care.
  • Handling inbound and outbound calls, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Maintaining and updating client records in the CRM system
  • Identifying and resolving customer queries with a problem-solving approach
  • Managing sensitive conversations with confidence and empathy
  • Escalating enquiries to the appropriate team when necessary
What They’re Looking For
  • Customer service or call handling experience (2 years desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Basic administrative skills – comfortable updating claim files and CRM systems
  • Confidence and resilience – ability to handle challenging conversations
  • Experience in finance, claims, or legal sectors is a plus but not required
